Snag’s Service team is looking for a Lead Technician to provide exceptional service and customer support during field visits or dispatches. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the customer.

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.

  • Tie workflow to schedule.

  • Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.

  • Coordinates the activities of subordinates.

  • Inspects work performed to ensure shop standards have been met.

  • Requisitions parts, compute work orders, and prepares service records and reports as required.

  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.

  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.

  • Produce timely and detailed service reports.

  • Document processes.

  • Operate vehicle safely and will be held accountable for furnished truck tools, technology, and equipment.

  • Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols.

  • Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization.

  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.

  • Build positive relationships with customers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge in the diagnosis and repair of automotive or/and heavy equipment.

  • Skill in the diagnosis and repair of automotive or/and heavy equipment.

  • Skill in operating shop tools and machines.

Qualifications

  • Preferred 2 years experience in any of the following fields; Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical

  • Must have reliable transportation for travel to/from work

  • Must have a clean driving record

  • Must be able to pass a drug screening

  • Must be willing to travel

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs+
